An insight into my YouTube subscriber list

I have always been a YouTube girlie, since around 2012 where I used to run to my iPad to watch all the latest OG YouTuber videos. I thought I would compile a list of my favourite creators to watch on YouTube as there is no better feeling than sitting on the sofa with your favourite snacks and diving into your recently updated subscription box.

There is probably a strong theme within the creators that I watch, I want to feel cosy yet inspired. I love a chatty vlog that feels like we’re on FaceTime, but also am a sucker for a visually aesthetic video too which leaves me feeling inspired. A nice mix between a video diary and relatable chit chat.

These are a few of my current favourites but I would love to know who’s missing from my list.

Lindsey Rem

An LA based girl in her twenties, showing all things fashion and lifestyle. I have been a lover of Lindseys videos for a very long time now, It feels like I have grown with her from when she used to post about her graphic design degree in College.

Lindseys videos are always a cosy one to watch, she does a mixture of vlogs, what I eat in a day and lots of fashion content, just overall love her vibe.

Poppy Deyes

All the cosy vibes over at Poppys channel, as a lover of the OG Youtube gang I have always loved Zoe and Alfies vlogs and still watch every uploads of theirs, if you do too then you’ll know that Poppy is Alfies sister and has featured in their videos over the years too. Poppy has had her vlog channel for a year or so now and I'm so glad she started one! The vlogs are very home based with snippets around Brighton, she shows her navigation within motherhood and is the ultimate cosy vibe on a Sunday.

Sunny Kabocha

I have followed Sunny wu on instagram for so long as she is also an illustrator, but I didn’t know she also had a Youtube channel too?! Since this discovery, I have been on a deep dive into her channel and have binging all of her vlogs. She hasn’t posted in a while so once I've done binging I'm not sure what I'm going to do!

Her videos guide you through her art journey and her life living in Plymouth after moving from New York. As a fellow artist I love that I can relate to her content, I love looking into her journey on a more personal level through her laid back vlogs.

Susie Lola

Always an immediate click as soon as there is a new upload. The queeeeen of fashion in my opinion. I just absolutely LOVE Susies videos. I always gain so much inspiration after watching a video from her whether that will be through her fashion or the way she edits her videos. Susie focuses her videos around her outfit vlogs which also contain her day to day life around London, fun festival vlogs and just general fashion and life videos. I always know I'm going to have some new small brands to discover when watching her hauls as she is always one step ahead when it comes to the London fashion scene.

Even more excitingly, Susie is currently moving into her own apartment, which means lots of moving vlogs and home content which are some of my fave to watch, especially as I have also moved a few months ago, so I can’t wait to get some fun home inspo.

Moya Mawhinney

A Paris based vlogger, Moya shows her day to day life living in Paris after moving there from from Dublin. Her videos are full of Paris recs and fun fashion events. I love seeing what she is getting up to each upload, she is also an artist too so always look forward to when she shares those moments.

Lara Celia

Another Paris based creator Lara, takes us through her life around Paris. another great person to follow if you have a trip to Paris anytime soon as she always shares great local recommendations. I love how short her videos are whilst still full of personality.

Arden Rose

You probably already know of Arden as she has been around on Youtube for a long time, but if you haven’t then you definitely should subscribe. As an La based YouTuber moving to London with her husband Will, i have loved seeing their move and their recent wedding (my royal wedding) over the past few months. Arden fills her videos with so much personality, I love her fashion content and especially her recent art vlogs where she paints at her London studio. I recently went to her exhibition to see her paintings and they are just as amazing in person as it is seeing the process over on her channel.

Daughter of a hoarder

Ruby is the girl behind ‘daughter of a hoarder’, which comes from her OG Depop reselling days, selling her mums vintage clothes. After building a social media platform, I was so happy that she branched out into YouTube too. She is friends with Susie too so I love when they vlog together, its like being on FaceTime with your friends.

Primarily fashion focused, Ruby’s videos navigate through her London life and showing her latest fashion finds. I love a good old clothing haul and Rubys’ never fail to disappoint.

Hopefully you’ve found a new person to subscribe to, I’d love to know who are at the top of your subscriber list and if there is anyone I need to get to know!

Thankyou so much for reading,

Phoebe x
